Stages, flows and jobs explained
The three ideas behind Nkaebo, in plain words.
Nkaebo is built on three simple ideas. Once you know them, everything else follows.
Stage
A stage is one step in your work, such as Packed or Awaiting parts. You create a stage once and can reuse it in many flows. A stage can send a message, or it can be only for your own tracking.
Flow
A flow is an ordered list of stages, for example an order flow with Confirmed, Packed, Courier on the way and Delivered. A flow has no dates or times.
Job
A job is one piece of work for one customer, such as an order, a repair or a booking. A job can have no flow, or one flow running at a time. You can call jobs by whatever word suits your business.
The same flow can run on many jobs at once. Each job moves through it on its own.
